Well, it finally happened on Saturday July 11; Megan climbed out of her crib and is now in a big-girl bed. It's been a little bit of a transition but Megan is handling it pretty well. We think it's been harder on Mom & Dad. We've had to take a bunch of items out of her room and everyone has gotten a little less sleep this past week. On the positive side, the weather has finally realized it is July and we've been having lots of fun outside!
Megan had a great 4th of July. She went to the "horribles parade" in the morning and then had a neighborhood BBQ with friends Will & Greta in the afternoon. Megan also enjoyed watching the fireworks even though it was after her bed time. She kept saying "Happy Birthday America"!
Megan has been having lots of fun with her friends. There has been a lot of kissing going on as well!
Megan met up with her great Uncle Frank & Aunt Jo and lots of Fote cousins. It was fun to meet Mommy's godfather!
Megan celebrated her second birthday with friends and family this past weekend. It was a fun party in the backyard that included ice cream cake! We even got to see a Mom & baby ducks waddle by! A special thank you to those who traveled from far away!
Megan celebrated her birthday (again) with Nana, Jimmy and BFF Greta. It's the never ending birthday week!
Megan turned TWO years old today. It's hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. She is looking forward to her birthday party and some much missed sunshine! We also celebrated Father's Day yesterday, but she wasn't in a photogenic mood so here is both Daddy and Megan together!
Today is Daddy's birthday! We celebrated with a chocolate canoli! Megan enjoyed helping Dad blow out his candles.
Megan spent the past week in the Outer Banks of NC enjoying lots of beach and family fun. Here are the pictures from the week!
Megan got to meet baby Sarah! Megan thought she was very cute and enjoyed checking out Sarah's new room and even tickled her toes.
It was Nana's birthday on May 22 (and Megan's 23 month birthday) so we had to have a party. Megan loved blowing out the candles and singing Happy Birthday! It's great practice for her upcoming birthday!
Megan finally got to meet baby Caiden! She thought he was total boyfriend material and talked about him all day. Megan even got to give Caiden a kiss!
Megan helped walk for Cystic Fibrosis on a soggy Sunday at Marina Bay. It was fun to see some of Mom's co-workers and walk for Team Grace.
Megan sang Happy Mother's Day (to the tune of Happy Birthday) to Jen this morning. Megan was practicing all week, and this mornings rendition was a joy to hear. Nana and Jim joined us for a Mother's Day brunch. Thanks to Jim for a great meal. Megan took a walk and picked some beautiful flowers for Mama. Enjoy the pictures.Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!
This was a very exciting week for Megan. She graduated from her "baby" swim class and is now a Perch II, which means she swims without Mom, and instead with her teacher Miss Olga. Mom was very proud of her for doing such a great job on her own!
We also had a FANTASTIC week outside (which is also Megan's favorite word at the moment). We have finally had beautiful spring weather and we even took a quick trip to the beach this past Tuesday when it was 90 degrees. Enjoy the new pictures and videos!
