Labor Day Weekend

It's been a low key Labor Day weekend but we've been having lots of fun despite Megan getting over her first cold. She's still full of smiles!

Surf City USA

Megan spent last week in Surf City USA, Huntington Beach California. We had a great week enjoying the beach and pool. Megan enjoyed seeing lots of different CA sights. We spent one day in Long Beach, at The Aquarium of the Pacific, and also checked out nearby Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach. It was a fun week in the OC.

Megan Goes to Ohio

Megan took a road trip to Ohio to visit lots of family and attend Jack's graduation from Ohio State party. It was a busy weekend with so many new Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins to meet in addition to Great-Grandma O. Megan also was thrilled to be staying with puppy Cosmo and also got to visit with puppy Jake at the party.

Sandcastle Festival

Megan enjoyed checking out the sandcastle festival this year followed by an awesome fireworks display at Nana's. Summer is the best!

A Visit From Nannie

Megan's great-grandmother is in town and it's been a busy week with lots of time outside. We went to the zoo (Megan's favorite was the flamingos) and have been out and about enjoying the summer.

Outdoor Fun

Megan's friend Annabelle came over for some afternoon outdoor fun. The girls had fun in the wagon, pool and water table!

Happy 4th of July!

It is hard to believe it is Megan's second 4th of July holiday. Happy Birthday America!

Megan & Matt's Birthday

We had a special Birthday Backyard BBQ in honor of Megan's 1st and Matt's 30th Birthday! Megan enjoyed seeing everyone taste her first birthday cake. It is hard to believe our baby is now a toddler!

Outer Banks Vacation

We spent the past week in the Outer Banks of North Carolina enjoying some vacation time with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Ryan. We had perfect weather and Megan really enjoyed the beach and pool. Megan liked checking out the turtles in the nearby pond as well.

A Day At The Farm

We had a girls day out at the farm with Megan's friend Chloe. We got to see lots of animals and enjoy some ice cream on a beautiful day.

Stephanie's Confirmation Party

Cousin Stephanie had her confirmation this past weekend so Megan went to help celebrate. The highlight of the day was seeing Stephanie's big puppy. Megan enjoyed saying "woof woof" all day! Megan also loved her vanilla ice cream!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very nice weekend with unusually beautiful weather. Megan was busy taking swimming lessons with Dad and spending lots of time outside. Today we went to the beach and swings!

Megan Turns Eleven Months

Only one more month 'til her first birthday! We took this picture as it started to rain. Megan was a great sport. In other news, Megan has been taking swimming lessons with Mom. Dad will take his turn with Megan this week. We can't wait until it's warm enough to go to the beach and put those lessons to good use.

Happy Mother's Day

Nana came over to join us for breakfast this morning. This was Jen's first Mother's Day, so I'm sure it was nice to have her Mom visit. Plus, we needed someone to help us finish all the french toast! Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there.

Busy Busy

Megan has been very busy these past few weeks getting into everything. She pulls up and stands any chance she can get. We now live in a "gated community". Grandma and Grandpa also came to visit this past weekend. Megan has been having lots of fun!
