Merry Christmas

Megan had a very busy Christmas weekend. We all had a great time with family on Christmas day and Megan especially enjoyed all the wrapping paper on her presents! Santa had an easy stop on our roof after all the snow that we've had, and knew Megan has been a very good girl. Megan is now looking forward to ringing in the New Year! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Megan Turns Six Months

Can you believe it's almost Christmas? Before the big day, Megan got to celebrate turning six months with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Ryan. Megan has been busy eating new foods, sitting on her own, and showing off her new two front teeth.

Party Time

We took Megan to her first Christmas party last night. Although it was little past her bedtime, you could never tell from how happy she is in these photos! Here are some of Kerry's photos as well.

Santa Came to Town

Megan had a great week this week. Uncle Ryan came to visit Wednesday because he had to fly in for a work project. Then on Saturday, Megan got to meet Santa Claus. She thought Santa was fabulous, especially his hairy beard! Santa said Megan is definitely on the "nice" list this year so that was a big relief! Ho ho ho!

Welcome December

Megan started out the month of December by getting into the Christmas spirit. She wanted to model her Christmas knit outfit and her Santa hat.

A Friendly Visit

Megan got a visit from friends Tim & Katy last weekend. She's also been busy checking the computer as you can see. Soon she will be updating her own blog!

Thanksgiving/Megan Turns Five Months

On this day of thanks, we are especially thankful for Megan. As she turns five months old today, we continue to be amazed by her. She brings us so much joy.

Here are some pictures from Megan's first Thanksgiving. Megan got her first taste of rice cereal. She seemed to like it. We meant to get a photo of Megan next to our turkey, but Mom and Dad were too hungry, and couldn't think straight!

Megan took her first overnight road trip to NY for an early Thanksgiving celebration since Mom has to work on Turkey day. She was very good during the drive and had lots of fun hanging out with Uncle Ryan as well! Megan was all dressed up and even got to sit at the dinner table in her own high chair. She showed everyone her new favorite thing to do (rolling over) and got lots of undivided attention. She also got to check out her Christmas stocking and visit with Mr. and Mrs. Hagadorn.

Patriots vs. Bills

Tonight was another exciting rivalry for Mom and Dad since Mom is a Pats fan, and Dad is a Bills fan. Mom let Megan dress up in her Bills dress because it is very cute. Mom knew that the Patriots would take a commanding lead and remain undefeated so she had to do something to make Dad feel better. What a year to be a Boston fan! Go Patriots!

World Series Champions

While we were in the process of moving, Megan was just thrilled to be a part of the Red Sox winning the World Series! She is a proud member of Red Sox Nation, and just knew the team could pull off winning to honor her arrival for 2007! Here she poses with Big Papi and the trophy. Mom hopes to take Megan to see the real trophy sometime soon.

Happy Halloween

Hooray! We are back online! Megan is happy to share her Halloween photos with you. She had a great Halloween and even went trick-or-treating to a few of our new neighbor's homes. As you can see she was extremely cute as a pumpkin.

Internet-less!

Hi Everyone! I know it's been a while since you've been updated on Megan's progress. Mom and Dad have been super busy since their move to the new house last week. Unfortunately their new internet connection won't be ready until November 13th so they can't post any new pictures and video until then.

Megan has had a lot of great things happen the past couple weeks! She was thrilled to see the Red Sox win the World Series, celebrated her first Halloween as a pumpkin, and has started rolling over onto her belly. We've got pictures and video of it all so be sure to check back next week.

Megan Turns Four Months

Today Megan turned four months! This past weekend was very busy at her new house. Grandma and Grandpa came to help Mom and Dad paint and with lots of other projects. There was some fun time with Megan as we got into the Halloween spirit with her "Boo" outfit. She can't wait to model her Halloween costume for you next week!

Megan's Check Up

Megan had her four month check up and weighed in at 11 pounds 10 ounces. She is growing length-wise like crazy and is now 24.5 inches long. That's 5.5 inches since she was born! She is having a hard time getting chubby because she is growing so fast! As you can see, she has started to really discover her toes this week. Who needs toys when you have feet to play with!

One More Outfit

This is the last Red Sox outfit in this size range so Megan wanted to model it for tonight's game. She hopes you have a great week!

More Red Sox

Megan is showing off more of her Red Sox outfits. Although the Sox lost a heartbreaker last night, Megan is looking forward to tomorrow night's game in Cleveland. She just hopes those pesky Canadian Soldier bugs stay away from Dice-K!

Let's Go Red Sox!

Megan is all geared up for tonight's game against the Cleveland Indians. Mom knew this outfit would be perfect months ago for when the Red Sox made the playoffs, and she was right! Hopefully Megan will be wearing it when the Sox go on to win the World Series! She knows all her Ohio relatives are cheering for the Tribe, but Megan is a proud member of Red Sox Nation. Go Sox!

Fun on the Gym

Megan is a big fan of her baby gym mat. She really enjoys kicking her legs and playing with all the fun toys that make noise. She just squeals with delight! She is also getting very close to rolling over onto her belly. Lately, we have found her in all sorts of different positions in her crib.

Megan Turns Three Months

Today was a big day as Megan turned three months old. She is having lots of fun laughing and smiling. She is also enjoying discovering her hands and loves to watch anything that moves. Megan's three month birthday also marks a bit of a sad note as Mom has to head back to work. She will miss spending her days with Megan but they had a great summer together.

A Daughter Divided

As we prepare for the final regular season Red Sox/Yankees game, Megan is unsure of who to support. As you can see she went for a balanced approach. Play ball!

Megan's Update

Megan had a pediatrician appointment today and weighed in at 10 pounds 6.6 ounces. She has really grown length wise as well, and is now 23 inches long.

Let's Go Patriots

Megan was dressed to cheer for the first game of the Patriots season against the Jets this afternoon. The Patriots won 38-14! Megan thinks the team is looking fantastic and can't wait to cheer them on all season long!

Megan's Baptism

Megan was baptized on Sunday September 2nd at Our Lady Star of The Sea. It was a beautiful day and Megan looked like an angel! She wore the same dress that both Nana Young, Aunt Boo, Mom, and Cousin Stephanie wore when they were babies. After the baptism, we took Megan to see the Marblehead lighthouse and enjoy the afternoon before celebrating Grandma Eaton's birthday later that evening. It was a busy weekend but Megan had a great time with all her family!

Bumbo

Megan has started to use her bumbo chair. As you can see she's a big fan! Megan is very sad that August is coming to an end. She just loves the summer weather.

Megan Turns Two Months

Megan is now two months old. She weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces last week so she is certainly getting big!

Jen D's Baby Shower

Megan got to visit with some of Jen's co-workers at a mid-week baby shower for Jen D. Megan enjoyed the action with all the other NICU babies.

Cathy and Rachel

Cousins (well almost) and fellow NU huskies, Cathy and Rachel stopped by Sunday for a visit with Megan.

Four Generations

We had four generations of Jen's family together! Megan's great-grandmother (Nannie) and great-great-aunt (Pat) are visiting, along with the maternal great-aunts (Sharon and Marie), and the second cousins (Leah, Hannah and Stephanie). Megan had a great time with all the girls.

Aloha!

Mom was very excited to finally dress Megan up in her Aloha dress. Mom and Dad bought this dress for Megan on their trip to Hawaii in January, just after finding out we were having a baby girl! Since "aloha" means hello, goodbye, and I love you, Megan says them all to you!

Aunts and Cousins

All of Jen's Aunts and Cousins are in town to visit Megan. It was great to have all the girls together again!

Megan Dips Her Toes

Megan was dressed for the beach and got to dip her toes for the first time in the Atlantic on Sunday. She thought it was fabulous! It was the first time Mom, Dad and Megan all went to the beach together this summer. Where is the summer going?!

Family Weekend

Megan had a busy week of family between Uncle Ryan being in town, and then Grandma and Grandpa coming for the weekend. She really enjoyed all the people to hold and play with her. Megan was all smiles and has even started laughing out loud!

A Visit From Uncle Ryan

Uncle Ryan is in town all the way from Indiana to visit Megan this week. He's got the magic touch!

Megan's Maine Adventure

On Saturday Megan made her first trip out of state to visit friends Tom and Jenny in Maine for their baby shower. It was quite an adventure for Mom and Dad, as it took them four hours to arrive instead of two. After hitting massive amounts of traffic, a few bad turns, and a stop to feed Megan among other things, they arrived at the party. It was worth it however to catch up with the Stilkey's! Megan had a great time, and there was no shortage of people willing to hold her!

Megan turned 5 weeks today! She is certainly getting big.

Life is a Beach

Megan enjoyed an afternoon on the beach with Mom today. She had a great time!

Megan Turns One Month

Megan's Busy Weekend

Megan had a very busy weekend. On Friday, Aunt Jane and Cousin Kelly came all the way from Ohio to visit Megan before flying off to Ireland. Grandma and Grandpa Eaton also came to visit Megan for the weekend. They got to spend some quality time with their Grandaughter, saw the Sandcastle Festival, fireworks, and got to watch Dad play at his softball game. Overall it was a great time had by all.

Beach Day!

Today was Megan's first day at the beach. It was a gorgeous day, and she had a great time visiting with friends Kirby, Kelli and baby Chloe. Megan is definitely a beach baby!

Megan's Appointment

Megan had her second pediatrician appointment today. Just a regular appointment, but we are glad to say she now weighs 7 lb 3 oz, and is 19 3/4 inches long.

For July 7th we took Megan to her first party at Kirby and Stefan's house for a little BBQ. She even made friends with their dog, Izzy. Megan had a great time and got to meet a few of Jen's co-workers as well. Hope everyone is staying cool!

Megan Turns Two Weeks

Megan turned two weeks old today! Time is going by very fast and our little girl is definitely getting bigger. We can't wait to see how much she weighs at her next pediatrician appointment.

Happy 4th of July!

Megan celebrated her first 4th of July in style! Mom and Dad took Megan to the Swampscott fireworks on the 3rd, and were joined by friends Mike and Jim. Megan had a great time! We had a quiet 4th and will catch the Boston fireworks on TV tonight. We hope you had a happy 4th!

Daddy's Last Day

Well, today is Dad's last day with Megan before heading back to work. I'll sure miss spending so much time with her. Here are just a few more photos.

Operation: Dinner Out

Another beautiful day here, so we spent the morning out on the deck before going for a walk. We also ventured out to dinner for the first time as a trio. We had a great time and Jen got to have a long awaited watermelon beer. A specialty at Beer Works.

Megan Turns One Week

While not a significant milestone, we couldn't resist mentioning it! We are just so happy she is finally here!

We went for a walk on the beach, and a few visitors stopped by - Colleen, Sergio, Christian Jr., and Kerry. We also made a copy of Megan's footprints. For scale, use the length of a credit card. Her feet are a little shorter than that.

Day 7

Day 7 brought another first - Megan's first walk on the beach. While she slept the entire time, we are sure she enjoyed it!
