Megan had a wonderful Christmas. Santa was very good to her. She enjoyed Christmas brunch before Mom had to head to work and enjoyed trying out her new toys and hanging out with family.
We got our first dusting of snow today which was perfect for picking out our tree and doing some Christmas decorating. Megan was fascinated by the falling flakes!
Megan took a trip to NY for Thanksgiving this year. She thought the food was delicious, especially the green beans. It was great to see Grandma & Grandpa and Megan also got to catch up with Molly and baby Owen.
November has been tough month for Megan to adjust to. She was really loving her 4pm trips to the park which came to an abrupt halt when the time changed to Standard Time. Now unfortunately it is pitch black by 4:30 and cold. So, instead we have been having some neighborhood playdates with Will and Greta to keep the kids entertained before dinnertime.
It's been a busy couple of days leading up to Halloween. Megan got some use out of her rain boots, got to dress up in her grape costume at Mom's gym, and went trick-or-treating! We stopped in to visit neighborhood friends Will (the alligator) and Greta (the turkey). Megan received no shortage of treats. Happy Halloween!
Megan attended her first Halloween Costume Party with Dad and other babies born in the Spring of 2007. She had a great time as a "bunch of grapes" and is looking forward to trick-or-treating this Friday!
It has been a low key week with lots of fall fun. Megan had a playdate with her friend Will (he is only 1 week older if you can believe it). She is also getting excited about her pumpkins and upcoming Halloween. Today she said "trick-or-treat" for the first time.
It was a very rainy weekend here but Megan still was busy having fun with Grandma and Grandpa. She had gymnastics and swim class, and we also went to the apple orchard to get some fresh apples to make pies! Megan got to see some of the farm animals too which is always fun, even in the rain.
What a fun weekend! We spent lots of time outside and also took Megan to "Harvest Fest" at Green Meadows Farm in Hamilton, sponsored by Ipswich Ale. What could be better than fresh local beer with farm animals and music for the kids? It was a perfect day to celebrate the last official day of summer.
Megan is loving her first session of gymnastics. She has so much fun running around on the foam mats and climbing, jumping and swinging. Her favorite is hanging onto the bar. She also really likes the trampoline and is totally exhausted afterwards!
Megan had some fun this week with her boyfriend Will from across the street. They had lots of fun in the wagaon and water table. What could be better than a friend to share your toys and snacks?
